Speaking of Vietnam

has anyone noticed that the Pentagon has taken to reporting enemy body counts, as though that were some substitute or surrogate for strategic gains.

Wasn't then, isn't now.

1. AND highly inflated
same as the other time. all KIAs are listed in enemy body counts, even the infants, while only actual combat deaths are reported for GIs.

They have been put in an untenable position, by politicians, just like in Vietnam.
