The View: Juicy tidbits please....

talking about sleeping in makeup and how she walks like a model yada yada yada

3. Carville on view now

starts out talking about children's book he wrote. Mother said he was the worst lawyer. Two children little girls. He's a total pushover.. bad disciplinarian.. wife is gorgeous.. Star says Mary is a rabid repub.. Just as James is rabid democrat.. showed a clip of Joy asking Mary a question.. Mary asks if Joy is trying to cause divorce. Mary loves the bushes and chenys and she does not want James any closer to Kerry than he is.. Babs bringing up CBS story last night.. should it have an impact? As long as pres does not admit his shortcoming regarding guard service.. it'll hurt him. Joys says flipflop think has taken hold and Kerrys campaign is a t fault. James says Kerrys correcting those mistakes and he is doing better. Babs says how's Clinton.. Playing cards with Chealsa and brimming with ideas for Kerry.

4. Starr showed him a clip of his wife on a previous View episode,

in which Starr asked Matalin when her husband was going to get involved with the Kerry campaign, & Mary replied that she'd prefer that he didn't because she was close to the * & Cheney families.

"Well, are you going to get involved in the Kerry campaign -- we need you!" asked Starr.

Carville played it in a coy manner & said that if anyone called him for an opinion he would gladly give them one. He said that he was working on the sidelines, though.

This was a short segment. They talked briefly about his new children's book at the beginning of his interview.
