Hey Freeper
hypothetical question based on events that have happened and WILL happen again. A chemical refinery near your town hires an illegal alien to man the valves in a unit. He turns the wrong valve because his English is not so good releasing a deadly cloud of cyanide gas. Two members of your family die as a result. How much is it worth? The broken hearts, the lose of loved ones, how much does the company pay?

According to your president, nothing, or near nothing. His statements against trial lawyers in his speech told you straight out, he's for limited liability for American Corporations. You get nothing, the children, they get nothing. American Industry, they get to say "whew that was a close one"

Now in your Bush America none of this really matters. See all those industries and their jobs will be outsourced to places like India. So you really don't have to worry about it, unless your one of the displaced workers.

1. Yeah, I can't believe that the Repubs are actually falling for this one.
They are actually willing to leave themselves with little recourse for the huge damage that these corporations, and quacks can do. I just don't think that they think things through.

life insurance shouldn't be responsible for a third partys neglect.

3. $500,000 cap....$250,000 if he can get it.
Are the children of politicians worth this little? 0r is it because they don't want to see the commoners "hit the jackpot" over a kid that wasn't even going to college?

If GM knows they let a defect out the door that may kill 25 people will they spend 25 million to recall the cars?

Or accept the lawsuits.

7. Freepers will just say it's the illegal alien's fault.
Because he broke the law and didn't speak English, like Jesus did.

8. LOL
true and if they use that argument we'll just remind them that bush also wants more illegal aliens access to American jobs. He's mentioned that over and over.
