It has occured to me, probably you too at some time or another, that Afganistan has dropped completely off the radar..for some time now too! What is going on over there? Are we still limited to only Kabul while the rest of the country is overrun by warlords and tribal factions?! Seriously. Can Afganistan be considered a success or a failure?

we will see-our neglect of the country hasn't helped it-the warloads and poppies rule the country-I hope and pray things get better but we don't protect the humanitarian efforts so how the hell can it? Another gift from the war in Iraq!

5. It dropped off the face of the Earth

but things are gradually getting worse since the war started. Especially with elections, with violence and tension rising; the elections will also be nothing but fair (there are reports that some people are getting 15 votes). There was an article in the Guardian that the safest place for women to be is in prison. No one is talking about it, though.
