Nader Fails to Qualify for Oregon Ballot
The decision to invalidate a large number of petition sheets, made by Secretary of State Bill Bradbury on the advice of the state Elections Division, is based on many "irregularities" on the petition sheets that go "above and beyond" the question of fraudulent and forged signatures - according to our sources. As a result, the Nader campaign has only 15,088 certified signatures - just short of the 15,306 required for ballot access.

4. You know what? It doesn't even matter.
With or without Ralph on the ballot, Bush is going to get his ass handed to him in Oregon. Kerry will win BIG here. Bank on it.

5. The following "ha ha" is directed in a spirit of derision and contempt,
not sympathetic good humor, towards Mr. Nader.

HA HA!

6. That's terrific, if this holds up

Oregon was one of the states Nader could have done significant harm to Kerry. Gore carried Oregon by less than 1/2 percent and Kulongoski barely survived in the 2002 gov race, after being expected to win much more decisively. Oregon, Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin are traditionally Democratic states that have been trending somewhat away from us.

In the past few days, we've managed to exclude Nader from several important states, with the predictable exception of Florida.
