National Enquirer Readers Vote -- Whoopie Goldberg is a Traitor
TWO-TO-ONE MARGIN

Now you have your say! By a whopping margin of two-to-one, or 66 percent, ENQUIRER readers have decided that "Whoopi Goldberg is un-American because of her outrageous comments about President Bush."

Reader Lucy R. Justice, of Honesdale, Pa., wrote:

"Whoopi and all her liberal friends in Hollywood think they speak for America. Well, this is one American they are not speaking for. Whoopi and her friends have done nothing but give aid and comfort to our enemies. Shame on them all!"

Leah Shaw, of Eagle, Idaho, fumed: "We should bring back the enforcement of treason and kicking people out of the country. Whoopi is abusing the right of freedom of speech. You can disagree and yet not make your country or your leader out to be a fool."

Helen Taylor, of Sparkill, N.Y., unloaded with both barrels: "She is a traitor. Freedom comes with a price, as our military knows. We need to respect our President."

"One does not bad-mouth the commander in chief when the country is conducting a war against terrorism," stressed Doris T. Fritz, of Apple Valley, Calif., "To do so is definitely un- American."

6. Truthfully?
It's actually just a spelling thing. I just feel dirty having even stopped there for a second...and a little embarassed. But once I got there, something told me to look around.

I couldn't remember if they spelled it "Inquirer" or Enquirer".

2. "...not make your ... leader out to be a fool" - he can do that by himself
he doesn't need help with that.

"we need to respect our president"... I assume they said exactly the same thing when those right-wing extremist where bashing Clinton ...

7. What do you want from a reader of the
National Enquirer-every supermarket shopper's guilty little pleasure? Obviously, these people have never heard of, let alone READ, the US Constitution! And that's NOT a surprise in this day and age-it's not taught in High Schools anymore.

Edited on Wed Sep-01-04 04:51 PM by fdr_hst_fan
40 years ago; I was just a kid at the time, and my mother's sister would buy them, read them and then save them for Mom when we visited, when she could pick them up and take themm home to read-they were BIZARRE!

TINY TIM: EVEN WEIRDER THAN YOU THOUGHT

snip.......

The bearish, scraggly haired singer was attracted to underage girls, and often walked around with as much as $4,000 stuffed into his shoes. Even though he had no medical reason to, he wore adult diapers, which he changed three and four times a day -- sometimes in front of sexual conquests.

snip.........

Throughout his career, Tiny (real name: Herbert Khaury) was wrongly thought to be gay by many fans. In fact, he had just one early gay experience -- which plagued him for years.

snip.........

"Despite his eccentricities, women mobbed him everywhere he went. The real demon in his life -- and he hated himself for it -- was underage girls.

"But despite being drawn to 15- and 16-year-olds, Tiny never had sex with a minor, to my knowledge."
CONQUESTS

snip.....

"Tiny would invite women to his hotel room and then read them scripture as his own unique prelude to seduction.

"But the sex would be over in a matter of seconds. All his life Tiny suffered from this problem. Once he even tried to treat the problem with the numbing agent Orajel."

15. There are some things in this world we're just not meant to know...
...and I think the details of Tiny Tim's sex life fall neatly into that category.
