Am I the only one...
noticing that the RNC crowd looks bored out of their wits? The DNC was exciting and the crowd was extremly happy and enthusiastic, but this crowd looks bored and lethargic.

And as someone who works in the fashion industry, I have never seen a group of more hideously dressed people in my life!! Jesus, go to Banana Republic at least!! There are so many Foley's Pantsuits in the crowd, that one would think they had one next door to the audotorium.

Gin and Tonic looked slutty, and I hated that Color on Pickles.

Are all of the women in the crowd the same shade of Blonde???

1. Very much like NBA basketball games I've been to.
A crowd of largely rich, white folk is none too exciting.

2. the contrasts are amazing, aren't they?
People were PUMPED UP to be at the DNC; there was dancing and singing. People were smiling and wore bright colours and were into the speeches.
The RNC looks like they're just going through the motions...

6. They probably know in their hearts
That * is most likley not going to get a 2nd term. The crowd for the most part is very solemn. Also, our convention had better production values. The set-design is boring. There really is no music, and I saw a more livley crowd at the Queen Mum's memorial service.

This is nothing but a boring hatefest.

4. I noticed that as well . I thought it was only me .

And I also only thought it was empty during the day speeches . But the audience looked bored and empty even during the " primetime " speeches . Going back to the DNC the crowd was lively and I enjoyed the music and dancing in between the aisles and etc . Ha ! This is just another sign that the walls are crumbling down .

7. I thought the crowd looked like they were all on drugs....
that, or drunk. That glassy-eyed look, where their eyeballs are looking at something, but "nobody's home" to make sense out of whatever they see. You know the look I'm talking about?

If somebody took all their meds away, the whole crowd would be Dems within a month!

The reason they're bush followers is because they FEEL NO PAIN! That's why they also can't identify with anybody else's pain.

They're all drug (or alcohol) numbed.

And ANYBODY in the midwest or the south who were watching the twins trying to be cute.... were most likely appalled. They just wanted so badly to be the hollywood chic/grammy award Hilton-types. Instead, they were making all the fundies in the audience cringe.

Too funny!

9. The RNC has been an exercise in NARCISSISTIC WORSHIP OF THE BOY BUSH
It has not been about America ... It has all been about propping up a NARCISSISTIC MAN WITH EXAGGERATED NEEDS POWER AND CONTROL ... What a recipe for celebrating a full fledged dictator.

I've not watched the RNC. I am proud of that fact. I have read about the RNC and watched snippets of their speeches on Amy Goodman's Democracy NOW program.

The RNC has not been about taxes, it has not been about a vision for America, it has not been about health care or social security, it has not been about anything other than pure, plain and unadulterated narcissistic worship of the Bush Boy; fear inducing paranoia, militarism and nationalism.

It is sickening. Americans are creating our own Hitler.

Get a grip America. The Bush Boy retake of the White House augurs a turbulent course ahead for most Americans. Take a grip and vote the bastard resident out of the white house!

Do not worship the Bush Boy. Love yourself and your country first and foremost. It is healthier for the nation. Do not fall prey to his madness. Stop. Think. Boot him out. Set our nation free again!
