1. i can't seem to get onto the St Louis indymedia site or the

national indymedia site (indymedia.org). I am sure there would be pics or links to pics. On CBS news this morning they said there were arrests at last night's Critical Mass ride. They made it sound like a protest. Well Critical Mass rides take place all over the world on the last Friday of the month. It is not unusua. Yes, Critical Mass rides ARE protests against the dominant car culture that reigns supreme in the US. Critical Mass is a monthly non competitive bike ride through cities in an attempt to show the carbound that bikes can be used for more than riding on trails.
