It's getting increasingly hard to despise Chris Matthews.
Watching him mercilessly flog Michelle Malkin was a hoot.

1. indeed
I always thought people were harsh on him...IMHO, he just rips everyone- including our guys. To me, he doesn't pander to the right...but that's just my thoughts.

2. He seemed like a RWN during the Clinton years, but it seems that
he's out to shred whomever is in power.

I think I kinda like that.

4. Better late than never. Besides, just think of the little neocon
screwheads watching Matthews nail Malkin to the barn door.

We (liberals) could NEVER have that kind of impact, as we would be accused of being "partisan".

Matthews, on the other hand, did it quite nicely.

7. Chris talked tough about bush before the invasion of Iraq
I remember seeing him one time and he was angry about it all, he claimed bush didn't read and was unprepared for the outcome of any invasion of Iraq, Chris turned out to be correct. Normally I don't watch any TV political shows, I just happened to catch him going through the channels. Well, I do watch "Real Time" and the "Daily Show"
and almost ashamed to say, the Ali G show on HBO - it is a terrible show but every now and then he says things that are so stupid I can't help but laugh, he pushes the limit of stupidity to a new level while he interviews important news makers that don't realize he is making these absurd statements as a joke.

14. Perhaps you missed it?
When he was creamin' himself cause the idiot usurper rode in a jet fighter all the way to a ship 34 miles off the coast of San Diego. I believe he was even proclaiming a likely Bush win at that time. Musta thought we all got way turned on by a chimp in a flight suit.

It was truly sickening.

16. He said about the flight suit photo op:
"We’re proud of our  president. Americans love having a guy as president, a guy who has a little swagger, who’s physical,  who’s not a complicated guy like Clinton or even like Dukakis or Mondale, all those guys, McGovern.  They want a guy who’s president. Women like a guy who’s president. Check it out. The women like this war."

- Chris Matthews, 'Hardball' on MSNBC, 05/01/03

He's all over the map. On some shows, he's gushing in a weird, creepy, outrageous way about frivolous things that have no connection with reality. On other shows, he's trying to ask some real questions that deal with reality and life and death issues. It's totally bizarre.

18. ...and don't forget
He also creamed himself (and still does) over the appalling visage of Bunnypants with the bullhorn after 9/11, standing on a pile of smoking bodies, acting like a fool. Matthews considers this 'leadership' from a leader who snuck around underground bunkers and hid like a coward on 9/11.

As I remember, he's also pronounced a few of his incoherent ramblings to be "Churchillian".

I'll give him his due when it comes to dismantling the Swift Boat Liars, but trust him? Nope.

5. This SBVT thing has alot of the talking heads in an uproar...
some because they know it's justplain wrong, and others because they know that eventually it's going to backfire on Shrubya.

8. Tweety earned himself...
Lots and lots of room with me that night. Thurlow got a new one torn for him (so bad they had to have him go on Scarborough's show and have his dick held the next night.)

Chris knows cowardly attacks when he sees them and he's smelling the rat.

I just loved his reaction when Malkin asked if he'd asked Kerry the question.

Tweety: "If he'd shot himself on purpose?!? Uh...no."

10. So can you tell us more about what happened?
for those of us without cable, or who did not see it.

I have mixed feelings about Malkin. On one hand, she does expose the hypocrisy of illegal immigration (which, now that I can see how leftist many of the poor people in latin america are, I feel somewhat better about), but on the other hand, she is a right wing fundamentalist nut.

13. Don't worry, he'll come around....
He's got multiple personality disorder. He's got something, because no one in their right mind could gush like he did over Dimson in his flightsuit.

15. Don't despise him...but don't trust him, either
He will protect his career, not the truth.
