Boston Globe: Kerry website removed questionable documents

Anybody know anything about this. This is the first I've heard of it.

"The Kerry campaign removed a 20-page batch of documents yesterday from its website after The Boston Globe quoted a Navy officer who said the documents wrongly portrayed Kerry's service. Edward Peck had said he -- not Kerry -- was the skipper of Navy boat No. 94 at a time when the Kerry campaign website credited the senator with serving on the boat. The website had described Kerry's boat as being hit by rockets and said a crewmate was injured in an attack. But Peck said those events happened when he was the skipper. The campaign did not respond to a request to explain why the records were removed."

the Kerry campaign has been embarrassed by wrong info on their website (the other had to do with confusing Kerry/Kerrey).

4. I'm beginning to think we've got some sloppy staffers...

Simple mistakes to make, but they make Kerry look foolish (like the claim he was on the Inteligence Committee as Vice Chairman when that was BOB Kerry.

Obviously Kerry knows when he comanded a particular boat and knows what committee roles he's filled. It looks like the staff isn't doing a good enough job of researching and/or Kerry is being run too ragged to review things.

5. I noticed something else interesting in this article

Something that could prove to blow up and be an embarassing issue for Kerry.

"According to Doyle's review of the medical records, Kerry also developed "a minor non-specific urinary tract infection" during his military service. It responded to antibiotics, Doyle said. Asked how Kerry developed the infection, Doyle said: "We discussed it. He had no recollection of it. It's not a very significant thing when you're 22 years old. It's something that can happen to anyone at any time."

It doesn't take too much imagination to figure out what condition "non-specific urinary tract infection" is a euphemism for.

7. Let's have two young men in the 60's and 70's open up all med records.

We all really want to know how many STDs they may have picked up, especially since Bush spent MOST of the Vietnam era in the company of Mexican prostitutes while Kerry spent his first tour on a ship and then his second tour taking live fire in Vietnam.

Let's see how many abortions Bush had to pay for while we're at it.

6. Didn't that happen a while back? A worker compiling action reports

using Kerry's boat as reference mistakenly included dates when Kerry was not commanding the boat. When those more familiar with Kerry's record saw it, they had it removed immediately.

Unlike Bush who wrote in his autobiography that he "continued to fly" haha...yeah sure...how did you fly when you were grounded from flying, FORBIDDEN from flying, and never even bothered to show up?

13. More crazy conspiracy crap

Minor errors in the record do not mean there is a massive conspiracy to distort Kerry's history.

If you told your life story to someone and that person then retales it but gets confused on dates and other specifics, is it your fault? When you find out about it, do you let it stand or make an effort to correct it?

Let's stop the crazy conspiracy regarding Kerry and talk about the issues.
