Weird poll reflections.
If Bush thinks he's pulling way ahead in the polls, he may he back off on his campaigning, i.e. lulling him into a false complacency. Further, this could make Kerry, the DNC, the volunteers, and the 527's work harder. Perhaps the Dems would contribute MORE money to the DNC, 527's etc. Thus, if one was to be polled regarding who one supports in the Presidential election, and one told a little lie, stating the "other Guy", would this actually help one's preferred candidate? Of course, the unknown factor are the weak minded who back a candidate who is ahead in the polls with no concern for their positions. But what percent of the population are they, and do they vote?
