2 More soldiers Died Today?!? Where is the media?
I saw a news update on CNN this afternoon and a mention of 2 more soldiers killed in Iraq today. One from a drowning (!) the other from a gunshot, neither in "combat" (so they don't really count!.) I have searched LBN and googled and have found no information. Has anyone else seen this today?

5. thank you Kellanved!
it seems as though it will be getting even harder than it has been to receive timely information about death in Iraq. :(

2. I saw this...
Here's what CNN briefly reported at 4:00:

"US Central Command said today that two US soldiers lost their lives Saturday in two seperate, non-hostile incidents."

Yep. That's it.

Once again, per Rovian instructions, we are reminded by the media that non-hostile deaths do not count.

Sickening...

6. Focusing too much on casualties could erode support for the war on terror

The regime prefers that the media concentrate on the positive developments in Iraq.

11. which is especially ironic because
I don't believe there have been ANY positive developments in this whole invasion regardless of what the mediawhores say.

7. Yes, keep a look out here for related stories.
Often all you get is local coverage or the facts buried in a larger AP story.

8. Jesus fuck shit
I'm so fucking sick of this shit. If I could I'd grab g.w. since* by it's lapels and shout ONE HUNDRED THIRTY SEVEN DEAD since 01 may. Ten more we reach the balance point, then go past that's why this is being whispered instead of shouted from the rooftops.

10. Big Five corporate media doing as Rove tells them...
Focus elsewhere, not on Iraq, because it won't look good for Bush.
