It seems that Air America is expanding rapidly. Are there any radio people out there that know if this sort of expansion is precedented? I'm assuming that station managers are not going to program with Air America if it isn't somewhat of a proven commodity. I know that it kicked ass in New York, but does that necessarily mean that it is doing this well in other markets? Anyone?

1. Well, it sure isn't here in L.A. anymore, dammit.
BTW, if anybody has the stats from the latest NYC ratings, please post it here if possible. I forgot to make a copy when I first saw it. I do clearly remember that Franken wiped the floor with limbaugh. Every head-to-head match went to AAR, RESOUNDINGLY. Thank you in advance.

3. Kicking TOTAL ass in Portland OR!!

They are number one in Portland. Not just number 1 in talk, but the number ONE radio station out of everything.

This was a station that had a tiny rating before AAR came in. And all the other talk stations have lost 20-30% of their listeners during the same time period.

AAR is slaughtering everyone in Portland, they've changed the entire market in just 3-4 months.

Dailykos had the numbers up about 2 weeks ago.
