Caught in a lie. O'Neill told Tweety he voted for Perot twice.

But but but......he gave $1000 to George HW Bush in 1992

1. Just because he gave money to a candidate...
doesn't NECESSARILY mean he voted for him, especially depending on the amount of time between the contribution and the election.

2. Given the benefit of the doubt..
..it can still be assumed that he's LYING.

3. There was a period where Perot
dropped out of the race--and then he got back in. Lots of people deserted him during that period (perhaps O'Neill did this--and then came back when Perot reentered the race).

I had a friend who used to write for Perot's newsletter "United We Stand America" I wonder whatever happened to that organization? I haven't heard anything from them in years....(Hadn't thought of them in years either)--my friend was a good guy--he really wanted to see a third party become truly successful--so that we would no longer have just a two party system.

A worthy goal--but Perot wasn't a great candidate--and then I think in 2000, Pat Buchanan stepped in and really ruined that party!
