My face to face meeting with Porter Goss

Was in April of the year 1993, I was in Washington D.C. for the March on Washington & had a scheduled an appointment to meet Porter Goss to talk abut a few things that were pissing me off at that time in my life. I had never been so steam rolled in my life! The bottom line was I said we need Special legislation to protect Homosexuals from hate crimes. His response was no we don't we the Constitution protects us all equally, my response was the Constitution protects us equally but the laws are not enforced equally for our protection. He said I have to agree with you on that point but there is nothing I can do about that. & my final response was Your my Congressman, if you can't help me who will? I was then informed out meeting was over & he had more pressing business to attend to.

6. I am so outraged!

He is a disgusting animal and I fear for all of us. My heart breaks when I read a post like this, freetobegay! I have a close family member who is gay and I have no tolerance for anybody who discriminates - the religious fanatics are the absolute worse.

I was happy to hear he was retiring this year from the House, that had to have been a ruse! They knew then he was going to be appointed to this job.
