I first became aware of this jackass decades ago, when my (Jewish)
grandmother would listen to "Religion on the Line" on KABC.
Prager was the last host of this show (I think it ended because the
priests and rabbis got tired of his holier-than-thou attitude).

His main shtick is about morality; all laws must be morality-based, otherwise there is anarchy.

Like most rightwing hosts, he is a moral absolutist. Those who
agree with him (such as when he found an article to claim that ALL
rape is for sexual gratification), are thoughtful, enlightened beings;
all those who disagree with him (such as the non-smokers; he smokes
a pipe) are utterly without moral basis.

I know he is still on in L.A., but have not been able to listen to
him for more than ten seconds without wanting to rip my radio out of
my dash, ever since the time over five years ago, when I had just
received the phone call that my mother (Who HAD smoked a day in her
life, but that one day was 45 years earlier, and never again) had
just been admitted to the hospital for what turned out to be the
final time. As I drove through the LA freeway system, I turned on
the radio, and there was Prigger (sic) once again railing in his
self-amused style about how immoral the people who complain about
second-hand smoke were for taking away pleasure from others. My
mother died a week later from lung cancer.

Hate is a debilitating thing, but I do not know of a talk-show host I HATE more than Dennis Prager.
