And if you want to know why I get upset about this, it's because this is EXACTLY what the Repukes want. Their strategy is to constantly blow smoke in order to distract Dems. Instead of concentrating on promoting our agenda and our candidate, many Dems feel a need to focus on the attacks and we should do about it, and what we aren't doing about, and what we are doing about it, and how it will hurt us, and how it will help them, yadda, yadda.

The Repukes a deathly afraid that we are going to show the public that we have a plan and a program to protect this nation's security and interests, because they have none, so in order to get us to not talk about our plans, they blow smoke in the hopes of distracting us.

The way to victory in a campaign. as it is in war, is to SEIZE THE INITIATIVE, something that cannot be done if we are constantly responding to attacks.

It seems like a slap at Teresa. She has been on the campaign trail speaking out for quite some time now, and what she does with her money is her business. That's just my take on it.

I think they are both genuine, but one is a senator, and that necessarily alters how he must present himself to the American people while running for office. I wouldn't want to see him pretend to be anything he's not, and don't think I've witnessed that. Can you imagine Kerry putting on a pair of overalls and chopping down some bushes? I shudder at the thought!
