Investigators Concluded Shelby Leaked Message
Federal investigators concluded that Sen. Richard C. Shelby (R-Ala.) divulged classified intercepted messages to the media when he was on the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, according to sources familiar with the probe.

Specifically, Fox News chief political correspondent Carl Cameron confirmed to FBI investigators that Shelby verbally divulged the information to him during a June 19, 2002, interview, minutes after Shelby's committee had been given the information in a classified briefing, according to the sources, who declined to be identified because of the sensitive nature of the case.

So, is this going to make as much news as Sandy Berger's non-incident?

1. My take:
Shelby has not quaffed the kool-aid in quantities sufficient for the maladministration. Hence, he is either being beaten back into irrelevance in the repuke party, or purged.

He has evinced a streak of independance. The maladministration finds that intolerable.

3. And that Sandy Berger was officially cleared from any wrong-doing
didn't make big news either.

Of course, nobody will report on Shelby leaking classified information. He is a Republican.

5. Carl Cameron revealed his source?????????
Bush* must want someone to rid him of this meddlesome Shelby.

That's the only logical explanation; Remember Bush* (Cue "Mad As Hell expression") swearing to us all that he would find the leaker and prosecute to the fullest extent of the law?

Didn't they want Congress to take lie detector tests over this "security breach?"
