Jeb is so arrogant that he is risking losing some of his millionaire supporters as well as an important voice the Florida Senate.
Putting the bullet train back on the ballot will hurt him with some of his wealthiest supporters

Florida is a pivotal state in the presidential election, and the danger to Bush's brother is that some of the top movers and shakers in getting the high-speed rail under way are Republicans.
Why would a governor jeopardize his brother's re-election chances for president? Gov. Bush has already asked Republican candidates hoping to replace him in 2006 to cool it until after the Nov. 2 election.
C.C. "Doc" Dockery, who supported Jeb Bush all three times he has run for governor, said he thought it was because Bush is opposed to alternative transportation and also opposed to people who don't do it his way."Dockery's wife, Paula, is my state senator. He has spent over 3 million of his own money getting this project passed before. Others are angry as well. Jeb seems unaware, and simply does not care about the ill will toward him.
