What do you think? It just seems that the bad guys have always stood on the good guys backs and have gotten what they wanted at everyone else's expense.

2. so much good happened in the 60's
with the civil rights act and so on. We were really on the right track, humming along there for awhile. then bullets started being shot into good peoples' heads, and that's where things started to break down.

9. I don't know what point you are trying to make
But life will not always be a bed of roses. We take the good with the bad. We have had 8 very good years in the 90's, 2000 has been shit & it will change again here shortly. But not to have found any good in America at all is just utterly ridiculous!

8. April 9, 1865 at Appomattox Courthouse, VA, the good guys won.
But, a president named Johnson, a Democrat, betrayed the social revolution that had taken place. The Radical Republicans impeached him but lost by one vote. They were eventually replaced by a "bi-partisan" coalition of "moderate Republicans" and southern Democrats
that ended reconstruction and ushered in Jim Crow and "compromised" away the freedom that hundreds of thousands fought and died for.

10. It took the Great Depression....
to give us FDR- who was widely derided as a "traitor to his class."

If you'd have told me four years ago what Bush and the Republicans have wrought, I would have said that the time would be ripe for another historical realignment.

Come to think of it, seeing the crowds at the rally's, I'm not not sure it isn't-

Human history shows evil goes by the way side sooner or later....

only because its not productive.

Evil is parasitic/predator/remoraesque/etc.
