More good news comin' (poll)
From today's ABC News NOTE:

4. With all due respect to Newsweek and Gallup, hold onto your hat and hair for tonight's ABC News/ Washington Post poll. And please say "boost" or "bump," and not "bounce."

3. Kerry will probably be ahead by 8-10 points
And they'll call it a dead heat, or say Bush is actually ahead in the headline. Bank on it.

5. "With all due respect to Newsweek and Gallup" implies that
their own poll (ABC) will disagree with those two. Both Newsweek and Gallup have provided the basis for the "no bounce" story.

From thir tease one expects a very large Kerry move.

6. I get the sense from reading it
the results are different from the CNN and Gallup polls, which showed no bounce or a modest bounce. That leads me to think it's a nice bounce. Plus, other items in the note show Bush having problems.

8. "Hang on to your hat," "boost," and "bump"
are all positive words/phrases. Using "bounce" implies that what goes up must come down. That's my take anyway. :-)

10. Lots of media types said that last week.
Then a "poll" came out that could be used as a negative for Kerry and the whores went wild. cheney them.

12. I'm sure the whores went wild! I don't normally watch CNN or the others
Fortunately, on Capital Gang on Saturday most of the roundtable was very positive about the convention and about Kerry's speech. Even Kate O'Beirne had to admit Kerry gave a good speech.
