Something I think we need to bring up every chance we get
When these war criminals blame the "faulty intelligence" provided by the CIA for the war.

We MUST ask them, what intelligence drove Bush to suddenly pull the weapons inspectors out of Iraq? When did the CIA ever claim there was a real, imminent threat?

Bush has said that Saddam would not let the weapons inspectors in, repeatedly given the impression that he was uncooperative. And the media lets him get away with it, despite the fact that Hans Blix protested bitterly about Bush rushing to war when inspections had turned up nothing, and they were getting access, and were being allowed to do a thorough search?

I think we must keep bringing this up. Why did Bush pull the inspectors out? Why did he decide that he could not wait a minute more?

1. Since when did incompetence become a valid excuse for war?
I feel like I'm living in the Twilight Zone these days. All the pain, all the death, all the money that went into this unethical war and Bush is let off the hook because he believed something that wasn't true? How is that defendable? Clinton was rightly criticized for bombing an aspirin plant due to bad intelligence and yet the "oops" defense works for war? :wtf:

2. I guess around the same time "the dog ate my military records"
became an excuse for not serving your guard duty!

Or when, "we only had eight months to hold a committee meeting" became an excuse for ignoring warning after imminent warning about 9/11 . . .

3. funny yet tragic at the same time
You're right. I think it also happened around the time the Supreme Court decided it should override the Fl state Supreme Court and declare Bush the winner without a recount.

4. It's called fearmongering.
Bush used worst-case estimates of wmd to fearmnger without telling the American people about the uncertainty the CIA expressed.

Saying he didn't lie, he exaggerated, is like saying "1+1=3" isn't a lie, it's an exaggeration.
