Media that have reminded people of the New Republic July Surprise story
(Pakistan capturing someone to spoil the Democratic convention): Investor's Business Daily Los Angeles Times Christian Science Monitor Paul Krugman in his New York Times column
I have no idea what Investor's Business Daily is like, but the other 3 aren't surprising - they seem to have a record of actually catching what's important, and not letting things disappear down the memory hole. But how pathetic is it that an economist is leading the way in fact-reporting journalism in the US 'paper of record'?
