i still have some slight misgivings about kerry, but i am firmly behind edwards now; i hope kerry's speech will do the same...

6. Hypothetical example.
But, unlike Reagan's welfare queen, the woman about whom John Edwards spoke really exists in today's America. I've known plenty of single moms who couldn't make ends meet, so I also know that Edwards wasn't lying to make a point.

Trust me. I know the area where John grew up very well. The things he speaks of are from experience and the heart. In John Edwards, the people bearing the brunt of tax cuts for the rich have a champion.

I'll say it again. That speech won this thing.

I am proud of NC today. Edwards articulated allot of the concerns I have about the direction the country is moving in.
