1. Interesting, but...
Where's the debt service? I understood that the interest on the national debt accounts for up to 25% of the budget, that would shrink the human resources slice that much smaller, the one the RWers are always bitching about.

2. You need to read the page.
They categorize the debt service under "past military" along with veterans benefits.

I just found this when looking for a federal pie chart showing welfare spending after hearing some RW goon bitching about the pittance we spend on welfare.

I'm not sure if I agree entirely with the way they've set up the chart, but their perspective is interesting...
