F911 Question -- An Oregon family has charged

that MMoore used an image of their dead Colonel's
funeral without their permission.

Has Moore debunked this anywhere? All I can find on
Google is the spurious charge made, I couldn't
find anything in MMoore's War Room on his web site,
and nothing came up in a DU archive search.

There's this thing called E&O insurance. It stands for "errors and omissions". It's very expensive and very involved.

Nobody will distribute a movie without a solid E&O policy.

The E&O people pore over the script (for a dramatic film) and the movie, in a case like this, and EVERY TINY LITTLE THING you wouldn't even think of gets thoroughly vetted.

Without the E&O the film does not get distributed. It's as simple as that.

So the odds that the E&O people missed this one are pretty small. Possible, but small.

Whoever took the video owns the copyright.

The family probably did have control over who they allowed in to the funeral. If they had allowed the media in to film the funeral to begin with, then they have no right to complain about it now.
