The Reasons We Didn't Get Into Iraq
We didn't get into Iraq to get rid of Sadam. I know that because we got rid of him, and we're still there.

We didn't get into Iraq to remove the wherewithall to deliver terrible weapons against us, because we found no deliver systems in Iraq, and we're still there.

We didn't get into Iraq because they had a secrete nuclear program, because we have had complete control over every inch of the country for over a year and we haven't found any nuclear capability what so ever, and we're still there.

We didn't get into Iraq because of chemical or biological weapons either, as can be seen by the lack of any substantial amounts having been found, and we're still there.

We didn't get into Iraq to stop the slaughter of innocents, because we have become the slaughterer of innocents, and we're still there.

The only thing that we expected to find in Iraq that we have found in Iraq is oil, and we haven't removed it all yet, and maybe that's why we're still there.

1. But Powell (I think it was) said
we would leave after the handoff of power if the new Iraqi government asked us. Seems to me we are being asked to leave a dozen or more times a day in various ways but we are still there. And it really is about the oil isn't it?
