Nothing means anything unless we get rid of the Republican Congress
That's the message we must get out. Even if Bush wins, without a Republican, conservative Congress in both houses, he can do nothing to thwart us. WE MUST CONCENTRATE ON GETTING THE RETHUGS OUT OF CONGRESS!!

Espceially Tom DeLay and his henchmen.

2. We can take the Senate.
The House... probably not, unless the wave of discontent grows even bigger with some new revelation before November.

3. Repubs need to be educated....
It's not enough to just get rid of George W Bush...You must kill the head of the snake, also.

5. I wonder about the pug callers into C-Span
they are intelligent enough to tune in, but it is absolutely amazing how ignorant they are. Unless, of course, they are pug plants.

7. The House Is The Key
Look at the litany of problems we've encountered and the rise of the Reich wing. It's all timed to Newt's big lie...the Contract On America...that turned 40 seats in the house around. The pundits at that time said it couldn't happen, and it did. Who says it can't happen again?

I sense a huge groundswell of voters who want to toss this regime and all involved out...not just Democrats but Independents and moderate Republicans as well. While Kerry needs us to stay unified and strong, the real work should be locally where if we can energize enough voters to see the House is as much as problem, if not more, than Bunnypants, the worm could turn here. I know my district could and is in play...just gotta keep meeting people, talking positively and letting them vent their hatred (and that's what it's developed into about this regime and the Repugnican party).

The Senate is very takable...and I'd be happy to see Democrats in control there, again...but history has shown the Senate doesn't matter anywhere near what the House does.

The DNC needs a real cohesive message...ala the Gingrich lie...something that ALL Democrats can rally around and then get voters to agree with that message as well.
