Greenspan Urges Businessmen to Be Bold

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. businesses are unusually reluctant to spend and hire, but the economy could benefit next year if their caution ebbs, Federal Reserve (news - web sites) Chairman Alan Greenspan (news - web sites) told Congress on Wednesday.

In a second day of testimony on the central bank's semiannual monetary policy report, Greenspan told the House of Representatives Financial Services Committee that even with the recovery gaining pace, Corporate America has held back from new capital investments, inventory building and permanent hires.

Sooo...I guess the truth is out. Companies have "held back" hiring. The job numbers are a fraud.

public schools

expanded benefits
raises for congress right after election
medical and dental and spas for congress
life time pay for government employees


yes if they spend us into debt then they will have no money left for programs ...so they will end them....but they will keep their pay and retirement in tact......
