Dems Seen Favoring Sen. Clinton in '08

By GENARO C. ARMAS, Associated Press Writer
WASHINGTON - Delegates to next week's Democratic National Convention already have an idea about 2008 if presidential candidate John Kerry should lose this fall: They would favor Hillary Rodham Clinton over John Edwards as their next standard bearer.

An Associated Press survey found that the first-term New York senator is the choice of more than a quarter of the delegates while Edwards, recently tapped by Kerry to be his running mate, was favored by some 17 percent.

Amazing how the media will do anything to try and stir up the GOP faithful.

1. Clinton won't run in '08...

That would be counter-productive since Kerry will be running for his second term.

2. So let's warn the Republicans.
If Kerry is running for re-election in 2008, they'll be safe from Hitlery for four more years.

Therefore, they must vote for Kerry this year!

6. She could run as Edwards VP in 2012!
I'm sure the freepers won't sleep well given that possibility.

3. Hillary will do anything to be President

Or so the right wing believes. I remember Limbaugh speculating that if Hillary were made Vice President, Kerry wouldn't survive his first term.

5. That's the bottom line- and it looks like her EEE-vill plan is about to
come to fruition.

Picture this:

Monday night, beginning of the convention. Hillary comes to the podium. The crowd erupts into "spontaneous" applause (which will obviously be a set-up). People start chanting her name. Instead of launching into her pre-approved speech/intro of WJC, she accepts the VP nomination!

Fait accompli.

Then, on Thursday night, Kerry accidentally trips over a carelessly placed electrical wire on his way out....

See, RWN's? It's still possible.
