I'd sooner believe that the American people simply wouldn't stand for it. Not without 100% positive proof (or at least proof that's significantly more positive than the 15% shit we had for Iraq) that they helped "do" 9/11.

We simply can't be that stupid anymore. Even people that like bush know "the intelligence was flawed". Even CNN says so. Certainly the majority of Republicans would like to be a bit more sure this time around.

I am thinking of my neighbors who are just lukewarm supporters of bush now (actually the wife has decided to vote Kerry but the husband is still on the fence) and used to be BIG bush supporters in 2000 and 2001 and seriously, they would say enough is enough if we invaded Iran now.
