Press Release:
It has come to our attention that House Joint Resolution 114 passed by Congress in October of 2002 as prepared by the White House and submitted to Congress contained a scribner error. The resolution mistaken use of a "q" instead of an "n" through out the full text of the document, resulted in confusion relative to the sovereign nation we were authorized to use force on.
What should have read "Iran had connections to Al Qeade" and "Iran may have assisted and aided the terrorists on 9/11/01" mistakenly implied that "Iraq" had the ties and may have aided the terrorists responsible for 9/11.
We apologize for the scribner or typographical error and we know that the people of Iraq are better off without Saddam Hussein and will therefore understand and forgive the typographic error and the confusion caused by same and will continue to appreciate our efforts. Bringing democracy to Iraq was just and right and the troops killed in Iraq did not die in vein because we were right, despite the scribner error.
In order to prove that this White House admits it mistakes and holds the members of it administration responsible for errors that result in mistakes such as the invasion of the wrong sovereign nation beginning with "Ira", the executive assistant responsible for the scribner or typographical error has been terminated effective immediately.
