Questions remain about the scope, obstacles, omissions and flawed process that have marked the National Commission on Terrorist Acts Upon the United States’s ("9/11 Commission") investigation. Their final report is due to be released next week. 9/11 CitizensWatch – a public group working to monitor the 9/11 Commission and demand transparency, accountability, and a thorough investigation – will hold a press conference at the National Press Club on Thursday, July 22nd to outline flaws in the Commission’s process that may lead to false conclusions.
9/11 CitizensWatch will release a report critiquing the research methods used by the federal 9/11 Commission. Experienced researchers have combed through thousands of pages of clippings, statements from the 9/11 Commission hearings, and eyewitness accounts, and have found errors in the commission’s premises and early statements. WHAT: 9/11 Citizens Watch press conference during week of release of 9/11 Commission’s full report into the events, causes and responses of September 11, 2001.
