......as not all computerized counting machines would be considered "Black Box" voting methods.
From the
State of Nevada Fiscal Year 2004-2005 Preliminary State PlanOf the 17 counties in the State, seven (7) currently use punch card machines, nine (9) use optical scan machines, and one (1) uses direct record voting machines1. Due to requirements outlined in HAVA, the State is taking steps to substantially upgrade systems, redesign processes and provide updated and continual training for election administrators and the citizens of the State. In December 2003, Secretary of State Dean Heller took the first step toward achieving these goals by announcing the decision to purchase Direct Recording Electronic (DRE) voting machines for all Nevada counties.
He also announced his mandate to include a voter verifiable paper trail on all newly purchased DRE machines for the 2004 election. As part of this process, all existing machines statewide must add the printer technology by 2006. The Secretary of State also issued a proclamation decertifying all punch-card voting machines in Nevada as of September 1, 2004.See Appendix "A" of the linked document for a county by county breakdown of equipment used. :)
Looks like you're in good shape.
