Kenny Boy -- WHO?
In his book, "Bush at War," Bob Woodward says Stinky W. told him the great thing about being President is he didn't have to explain to anybody why he did anything. He appears to be still laboring under that sad delusion. Last week, an angry and "clearly-rattled" Stinky stomped out of a media briefing when reporters asked him about his relationship with the odious "Kenny Boy" Lay, and left White House spokesman Scott McClellan standing there with his bare face hanging out...

But that's not the amazing thing. CNN, which hangs onto Stinky's every word, aired ONLY the Scott McClellan portion of the media briefing. As far as I can tell, no other major media reported this incident, with the exception of the fabulous Capital Hill Blue. If anyone ever needed proof that the mainstream US media protects this totally worthless, morally-impaired warmonger -- this is it.

Of course, we all know about Kenny Boy's relationship with the whole Bush famdamily. It dates from at least 1990 when he was co-chairman of Poppy's economic summit for industrialized nations, which was held in Houston. Lay also was co-chairman of the host committee for the Republican National Convention when it was held in Houston in 1992.

The Center for Public Integrity, a Washington-based nonprofit group, said Kenny and Linda Lay have given $139,500 to Stinky's political campaigns -- which was part of $602,000 Enron employees gave, making Enron his leading political patron for Bush at the time of the company's bankruptcy in 2001.

In addition to Lay's political campaign donations, he and his wife contributed $100,000 to Bush's 2001 inauguration. Lay also was a fund-raiser for Bush, bringing in at least $100,000 for the president's 2002 campaign. That put Lay in "Pioneer" status as one of the president's top money-raisers.

So -- thanks to our integrity-infested media -- only Stinky can ask..."Kenny WHO?"

And get away with it.
