Great story on CBS news -- "don't ask don't tell" conundrum
Thousands of GLBT folk have been discharged from the armed forces -- even those who speak Arabic -- while at the same time, they've extended soldiers' stays and begun that whole "stop loss" business.

Quite a pickle!

America just heard that anti-gay policies are killing American soldiers. (Unbelievable to me.)

Now bushco has three choices: (1) to maintain that status quo (gays forced out while straights die) OR (2) be a hypocrite and allow gays to serve while prohibiting them from marrying OR (3) stop the anti-gay bullshit altogether!

What's an asshole to do?

1. What's an asshole to do?
indeed! the "fuck off" administration cannot have it both ways on the gay issue, now can they? thank you for connecting the dots. now let's see if the esteemed "liberal" media can do the same.

2. Thank CBS!
People sometimes trash its evening news, but it's the only news program I can stomach. Thanks to Dan Rather at 6:30 and 60 Minutes on Sundays, I find that I can go on!

3. My husband likes to watch ABC because it comes on first, so
sometimes I watch ABC with him and then watch CBS so I can compare. CBS usually is more objective and it usually has more facts than ABC in my opinon.
