Chip Carter ROCKS (never thought I'd say that!)

Woodruff just interviewed President Carter's son Chip, and he strongly condemned FMA. Not like Feinstein - who thinks it's okay for the states to discriminate. He said that he opposes ALL discrimination and that includes discrimination against gays and lesbians.

Also welcomed Ron Reagan speaking at the Dem convention, and when Woodruff asked (inanely) if Chip would ever speak at a Republican convention he flatly answered "no". Also said that his father agreed with his position on FMA, although President Carter thinks it has zero chances of passing.

Nice to see a Democrat with some backbone not hedge around the subject, just condemning discrimination. Refreshing.

Carter really did restore honor and integrity to the White House. That's why the repiglicans hated him so much.

coined that nickname escapes me, but I laugh every time I say it to myself when I see her mentioned any other way. It fits in SOOOO many ways, please use it whenever possible. Or not, it's just a suggestion cuz I think it's funny!
