Just because he and Gov. Dean have fallen out (I was a Dean supporter)
does not mean he would not be a major asset to us. We need everybody that could possibly help us.

1. He's also being ignored
by the Kerry people, apparently.

I sat next to him several weeks ago and he was talking about his frustration at getting the Kerry people to understand the true value of using the internet.

He also said then that the worst possible scenario in his opinion was for Kerry to be way up in the polling on election day. If that happens all of the lukewarm Kerry voters would feel free to stay home, and all the Nader supporters would feel free to vote Nader, and so on. Best, according to Trippi, is for the race to be very close up to the very end, so that the GOTV efforts would be massive on the Dem side. I'm inclined to agree with him.

2. The thing about Trippi I find disturbing is
I believe everything he has said that I've heard but he (the campaigns) has lost every single campaign he has worked on, and he has worked on eight presidential campaigns. Why is it that they have lost so much and so badly? Is it that he throws his hat behind losers or is it his message that just fails to connect? Just one of those things that baffles me.

3. What other presidential campaigns
has he worked on?

If you're right about the eight, perhaps we can persuade him to go to work for the Republicans.

4. I don't know but that was what he said this AM
He didn't seem that old to me but those were his words.
