6. Where are you going to emigrate to?
What happens if in his second term Junior gets drunk some day and decides to "liberate" the country you choose to emigrate to? The way Iraq is turning out, the next country on his list to be liberated, where ever that is, may be accomplished using nukes instead of just "Shock and Awe". No place to run. No place to hide.

7. Oh Nonsense! Many people Loooove Holy Joe
It is just that the Dean, Clark, Kerry, etc people are "showy" and emotional. Those who desire a glorious Lieberman presidency tend to be sobersides who simply donate money to their man and let the DLC handle the "messy work" of campaigning.

On DU, the lovers of Lieberman are conducting a "front porch campaign" worthy of McKinley himself! But, never doubt that their love is true and enduring.

19. Honestly. Most of the attacks have been his own doing.
By playing to the right wing of the democratic party and trashing those of us on the left, it isn't much wonder that he has few fans among the DU crowd.

22. I think it has to do with other reasons
that have to deal with his religion. Kerry and Edwards both voted for war with Iraq and support Israel, yet it's Lieberman who gets singled out.

24. But,
as far as I can tell, Kerry and Edwards haven't bent over backwards to lovingly kiss Bush's behind at every opportunity like Lieberman has.

26. He seems to have forgotten the golden primary rule
run left to get the nomination then run center. Not sure why but he is lurching right (towards the center) first. His post announcement behavior has me baffled.

9. If Dems pick Lieberman I will sit out my first election
No Dem who votes for pre-emptive strikes, Patriotic Act, and Homeland Security, and consistantly toes the Bush line will get my vote.

If Dems want to be Repub lite, they will lose the left, the base of the party. But who needs our votes, right?

11. I'm having a hard enough time seeing myself as not being a Democrat
I don't think I can switch parties. I'm just afraid the leadership has already made decisions, and that they don't care what I think.

I want someone who will reverse ALL the Bush policies on his first day in office, who will erase the madness of the last 4 years, who will run a campaign that so exposes Bush that he and his creepy kind never gain power again.

I want someone who will slam Bush everyday and twice a day on Sunday. Someone like Cynthia McKinney. Someone like Michael Moore. Someone like Will Pitt. Someone like me. Someone who is willing to tell the truth.

Does that sound like anyone who's running?

Kucinich has been doign this for months now...
Does the media report it? HELL no.
Is he the first shouting the truth & calling Bush a liar- yes- he did on (CNN)Wolfie's show...called him a LIAR...does anyone ever report that? NO!
WHY NOT??
Beause he's the only one standing up for truth who is not beholden to big corporate dollars!

Check out Kucinich!!!

Peace
DR

EDIT to add a big thanks to Jiacinto for his continual lack of support for the best candidate because he can't get out of his small mindset box. Must be swell....to be so young and so sure of everything so early in life....

17. Live in reality for once
Kuchinich is just a Congressman. Someone to the far left of the general public. And you honestly think that he can win a general election? Spare me on that. Kuchinich is a loser. Period.

18. your opinion is not the final word for the American electorate,Jia
and its pretty obvious I don't agree he is a loser...
if I wanted to debate you about this...and I really think its pointless, I would ask your definition of a loser & then share mine...but I sincerely think we don't need to go there.

You slam the possiblity of DK and I simply answer that I disagree with you ...I think we need to move on to more constructive things- we disagree& will no doubt continue to do so.

I just hope you are able to keep an open mind as you go through life....

Peace
