VP/Seven Letters -- Hmm, who could it be?

Some Kerry people have been told that their campaign plane is undergoing a new paint job to feature the name of Kerry's running mate. The stencilers have been told that the VP's name has seven letters. (Edwards and Vilsack have seven letters, Gephardt has eight).

But hell, CLINTON has seven letters, too ;-)

I cannot reconcile Clark's press conference, though (which was scheduled by the Kerry campaign), being scheduled on a day where clearly the press will be focusing on the VP choice...Clark wouldn't get a word in about foreign policy and have it covered on such a day.

The venues are all public spaces...library, cemetary, a visit to a youth program. Nothing rented, no big advance setup.

I think it's a diversion. Everyone else is pretty much in DC....Clark is way off the beaten path with this released schedule...forgotten by the hounds.....

on multi-million dollar planes. A graphic designer needs a hell of a lot more information than just "7 letters" to design a logo. The leak might be authentic, but the stencil thing is crazy talk.

You're right. Graphic designers don't use cardboard stencils! However, it is important to have an approximate name length to make a good looking design.

I would suspect the graphic designers were chosen quite some time ago, and were given several possible names. They were told to make several designs for each and would be given the go ahead on the final one when a decision was made.

Too bad one of us isn't in the paint hanger now!

I also think it would be very funny if no info was released tomorrow! Make the media look pretty funny huh?
