They spend a lot of time trying to egg-on the nuttiest of their nut friends, into committing various crimes, seditious and otherwise. Witness the way Wayne LaPierre and the rest of the NRA egged-on Tim McVeigh by whispering, "Tim they're coming to take away your guns, what are you going to do about it?" Well, we all found out what Tim was going to do about it.
Likewise, we're bound to hear them often mention the possibility of various famous Democrats being shot etc., in the hope that one of their nut friends will act out their self-prophecy.
