Edited on Sat Jun-26-04 11:12 PM by ann_coulter_is_a_man
it's been a good year for progressive filmmakers

who deserves the best documentary oscar this time?

my heart says f911 because i enjoyed it more, but i think super size me was really the better film.

1. I've seen neither one, so I can't say....
but I'm going to see them both. F9/11 is sold out in the Portland area, so this may take me a while....

8. Now yer talkin'
That'd be great. And given its historic opening numbers, maybe not such a wild prediction -- ??

4. F9/11, hands down
... although I'm also holding out hope for The Corporation, a definite must see (and hey, Moore's interviewed in the film). However, F9/11's box office will probably make this an easy pick.

I loved Touching the Void as well. It's now out on DVD, and well worth renting.

7. yes, without question
and i hung out with morgan spurlock for a bit after he played it in Charleston (he's a fellow west virginian)

believe me, he and his girlfriend (who is also in the film) would fit in just fine here at DU
