Right-wing media attempting to change 911 Commission Report...
Dick Cheney and George Bush both came out and disputed the staff release of the 911 Commission report. Yes, they said, Saddam did have connections to al-Qaeda but he didn't have any connection to the 911 attack on NY and Washington??? Huh??

The report clearly stated there was no "credible evidence" to show that Saddam was connected to al-Qaeda or 911. No "credible evidence". Yet, Cheney keeps saying the Commission doesn't know what the hell they are talking about. Bush parrots Cheney.

Now the right-wing media have picked up the Big Lie. And they are intent on getting the Republican members of the 911 Commission to change the initial report that has already been made public. Their changes will be the "new" report. That is what the right-wing media wishes to accomplish in the next few days or weeks.

1. The 9/11 Commish Members need to come out directly and refute
these assholes. They should name names:

"What VP Cheney is saying has no basis in fact. It's a lie."

"What the president is saying is wishful thinking at best, and outright lying at the worst."

4. I heard it intimated on Cable TV the other day....
And after watching the right-wingers in action the last few days, I think it is a good bet that will be the next move. The question is who will be the Repub Commissioners to do their bidding.
