Ever heard of Mark Lombardi? (tinfoil hat alert)
I don't know if he's ever been discussed on here, but essentially, he's an artist who constructed graphic narratives of corporate connections. One of his more famous ones connects GWB, Baker, the bin Ladens, etc...but it was done in 1999. Strangely enough, Lombardi "committed suicide" in 2000.

Anyway, it's interesting enough to take a look at:

2. Lombardi has been discussed here on occasion
I have the book "Mark Lombardi Global Networks" and the drawing papers 40, "George W. Bush, Harken Energy and Jackson Stevens c. 1979-90 5th version, ML © 1999".

It was strange about his suicide. A lot of people that write about Bu$h become very depressed. So it seems.

BFEE Fighter -- Mark Lombardi

Mark Lombardi is the Artist Who Knew Too Much about the Bush Organized Crime Family...
a.k.a. the Bush Family Evil Empire (BFEE).

An accomplished visual and conceptual artist, Lombardi is remembered for creating incredibly detailed social network diagrams that serve to illustrate the links between the various elements of the BFEE. In one famous example, Lombardi’s giant drawings show how George W Bush is directly linked to James R Bath who is directly linked to Osama bin Laden.

Here’s an example of Mr. Lombardi’s brilliant work:

A detail:

Strange, but true: His career was starting to take off when, on the evening of March 22, 2000 Mark Lombardi was found hanged in his loft. The authorities ruled his death a suicide.

There’s an exhibit of his work touring North America. The show is in Iowa now. Next stop is Toronto. (Yo, Minstrel Boy!). Here’s the itinerary and a link:

Faulconer Gallery of Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa from June 18 through August 1, 2004. The exhibit will be on display at the Art Gallery of Ontario in Toronto from September 10 through December 5.

Hey, DU: A favor - - please pass the word around on Mark Lombardi and his work. You’ll be fighting the BFEE.

5. Thanks, seemslikeadream!
The links are useful, since I'm now interested in this story. And I like the suggestion above to start a comprehensive database of people who have died suddenly, for whatever reason listed.

6. now, let's not get carried away
ever hear of "six degrees of seperation"? anybody can be "linked" to anybody... it's especially obvious when you look at saddam's "links" to al-qaida. you sit next to some guy on the subway who goes home and kills his family, and now you're linked to a mass-murderer. sounds bad, but doesn't mean much.
