Bring back the old Clinton economy and the tech boom.

2. This should go in GD
but prior to the IRaq war, Halliburton's stock had serious problems because they had acquired Dresser Industries and all their asbestos lawsuits.

7. I'm reading American Dynasty by Kevin Phillips
and i just read that Prescott Bush's father was once on their board. I think it was him if not it was aBush or a walker. I found that ironically interesting.

3. All I know is that Mr. Cheney was head of a failing company until he
bailed them out with sweetheart deals with the Gov't becoming VP(prez) of the US in 2001.

That company would have been under with all the asbestos claims coming out of the kazoo.

5. here's a link to an historical stock prices page
http://quicktake.morningstar.com/Stock/StockPerformance.asp?Country=USA&Symbol=HAL&stocktab=charts

there's a 5-year tab

most interesting to me was the huge spike in volume at the end of 2001
