Kerry needs to stick it to Bush....
Right now. While the iron is hot. They are fighting hard against the movie FH-911 and the Commission report that says there was no credible connection between Saddam and al Qaeda. They are struggling. Now is a good time to send a little confusion thru their camps.

Kerry needs to make a statement about the bi-partisan nature of the 911 Commisssion. He needs to remind people that these honorable Democrats and Republicans looked at all the facts before they came to their conclusions. Just because Mr Bush and Cheney disagree with their findings and conclusions does not give them the right to try and discredit them. They were wrong. And they should stop trying to convince America that the facts are as they say. They are not. The facts speak for themselves. It's time to stop the distortions and lies and level with the American people. It is Mr Bush and Mr Cheney that need to face the truth.

3. You are right...

One of the reasons why Howard Dean appealed to me was he was not afraid to attack the President. I understand Kerry is trying to appear Presidential, but he can certainly step up to the plate and hammer Bush and Cheney on at least this.

In the interest of full disclosure, I will admit I voted for Bush in 2000. I won't make the same mistake twice.

9. I'll come clean I voted for Bush too...

And then I woke up and realized just what exactly he was all about...the Repubs became way too far to the right for me. I bought into the whole notion of dems hate the military ect, but then I realized it's actually the pukes on the right that spit on the military and our cops and firemen by cutting their benefits, hazarad pay..ect

I could go on forever, but you get the idea I shredded my repub card and now within my wallet lies a mint condition voter card that says under party "DEM"

Oh to your topic, Kerry is playing it smart he's letting Bush buffoon himself left and right. He's waiting for the right moment to unleash his bombs on Bush, however if he does it now that gives the Bush admin time to throw billions of dollars at tactics to counter Kerry's attacks and time to regroup.

I think Kerry should drop the bombs during the debate where Bush will be put on the spot with no Dickhead Cheney to run behind.

16. Conventional wisdom says when your opponent is committing suicide
stay out of the way. Kerry is doing the right thing right now - playing it low key. He's sticking to domestic issues that affect Americans right now. Heard him yesterday talking about raising the minimum wage. He plans on raising the minimum wage to $7 an hour. He was talking to a woman that makes $7 an hour now. He asked her, "Do you have health insurance?" She replied that she did not. He asked her had she ever gotten sick, and she said, "no." He replied, "Looks like you have the Bush - pray you don't get sick - plan." Of course a Bushco spokesman replied that the president* would like to raise minimum wage too, but it has to be done in a manner not to hurt businesses . blah . blah . blah . . ." It set up perfectly the difference between these two. Could you see Bush ever asking a person if they had health insurance? Not a chance.

Anyway, Kerry is playing it smart. He needs to keep addressing what he plans on doing and ignore the scandals for now. Bush is doing damage to himself, so Kerry can afford to stay positive with his plan. Of course the freepers will say that Bush picked up 6 points last week just by doing nothing, but the truth is that was from the bounce from the Reagan funeral-a-thon. There aren't that many old Republicans to continue that method of boosting your numbers. What's Bush going to do call in Dr. Death and off an old elephant each time his numbers need a pick-me-up?

6. When a burning runaway train is in your path.......
Don't stand in its way. I say let Bush kill himself. Our convention is late next month and it's obvious that nothing Kerry could do will have the kind of affect of what Bush is doing to himself.

Really, this all comes down to the debates. The public knows Bush is a failure, all Kerry has to do is appear half-way competent in the debates and he'll win in a landslide.

10. But Bush and Cheney are trying to discount the Commission report....
Kerry needs to make a statement about it, in my opinion. They do not deserve to win this battle...with their lies and distortions.

15. You nailed it!
I say give the GOP enough rope to hang themselves.

They have the ability to turn voters against them more than Kerry does.

Let them weaken themselves, then Kerry can step in and finish Bush off.

In this election, the best person to beat Bush is Bush himself.
