</sarcasm>

how long?

i have a feeling THIS is our world probably for the rest of MY life (I am 35) and will continue WELL into my nephew's life (he is 4). So, when will this become the "norm?" (unfortunately, i fear this WILL become the "norm")

the news has (for the most part) stopped talking about Reagan. Hell, THAT only really took a week!

My 86 year old WWII uncle told me last month when i was visiting that he believes, "The Bush regime's policies and fuck-ups will take 100 years or more to overcome and it will take at least that long to right the wrongs that we have inflicted upon the rest of the world."

Pretty soon, we won't get too worked up over hostages, torture, etc.. It will be relagated to page A21 in the Washington Post. There will be more 'important' things that will get reported and these 'situations' will become tiresome. :grr:

I hear the new season of American Idol is about to start. There is also going to be a 'Partridge Family' reality show next fall.

Stay Tuned.

I know you are serious. But at some point, they're going to want to have some filler for a while.

With all the corruption in the works... don't think they'll get a break.
