13. You're Right About Olbermann
Though I don't agree with Olbermann all the time, I have a little anecdote about the guy. A couple years back, the actor's union was on strike (that's me) and he made a point on air in our defense. Since this was hardly a significant labor issue to most people, I e-mailed him to thank him. He e-mailed me back personally with some very kind words. A class act all the way. Just thought I'd share...

3. Talking about Cuomo representing him to change rating for Farenheit 9/11.
Cuomo has seen three times.
Musto from Village Voice: young people should be forced to see the movie so that they CAN SEE THE REALITY OF WAR!!! not the jingoist image that is fed to them.

4. According to Musto "The Passion" deserved to be condemned more for
bloody, manufactured violence than Farenheit 9/11.

5. Moore said that even if the "liberal choir" were the majority for
the opening of the movie, it was nice to re-energize them with the movie. He commented that even O'Reilley was there (I know O'Reilley said he left in the middle of the movie... )

6. Janet Jackson said she had been used by conservative forces to
remove attention from what was going on in the world, and Olbermann made fun of that statement.
SORRY OLBERMANN, I agree with her.

8. I haven't seen Farenheit 9/11 but I have seen Symbolman and I
doubt Moore's can be more impressive than Symbolman's.... I remember I cried watching it. It had "Lacrimosa" as background music and a split screen of Bush and the WTC attack... powerful and moving.

12. Yesterday there was a report that...
....somewhere around 65% of the "benefit" from the "recovery" was felt at the top levels of corporate America, while the middle class received approximately 5%...

I don't remember the source...might have been Lou Dobbs. The best source of validation remains the working class itself.
