Should I attend Tx Conf for Women or stage a protest?

Received an email about the upcoming Texas Conference for Women, asking us to sign up. One of the nice things my employer does is pay for attendance at this event. Last year, I went, and was subjected to speeches by Governor Goodhair and his vacuous wife. Check out this year's lineup, in addition to The Hairmeister:

Karen Hughes, Communications Advisor to President Bush
Cokie Roberts, ABC News Political Commentator and Analyst, with her mother, Ambassador and former Congresswoman
Lindy Boggs and her daughter, Rebecca Roberts, Technology Reporter for NPR's The World


Liars, media whores, and administration apologists! Can I sit through this and not spew salmon all over my coworkers?

I think I should just stage a protest instead outside the Austin Convention Center. Anyone want to join me?

1. I like one of the speakers, former Rep. Lindy Boggs

was a tough, but gracious democratic member of congress from Louisiana. She was so gentile that when she expressed her tough as nails positions (and a few "gentle" barbs) the opposition was left with little to say. It was a treat to listen to her in committee hearings.

That is niether here nor there, however.

make a simple hand-out on how some of these women have status because they are enablers of dishonest, greedy, unethical men.
