Many state and federal offices were closed, 747's flying back and forth cross country, fleets of limos, the shear number of manpower and logistical planning involved. The loss of revenue of the corporate whore media from hour upon hour of non stop coverage without "commercial" interruption. I'll bet the final cost will rival that of the GNP of some third world country. Just what our economy needs at this point in time.
